- Add a reminder without attaching it to a note. The Reminders tab has a + button (and one in the empty list) for a standalone reminder — pick a label and a date or repeat, no note required.
- Move a quick page into your library, or a note into a quick page, from its right-click menu. The spot it left is cleared, and a toast lets you undo the move.

- A note title could show a raw < instead of the character itself, when the note used underline or colour. Fixed everywhere the title appears — the tab, the library row, the widget, and exports.
- Copying or enlarging an image inside a locked note failed silently, even with the vault open. Fixed.

- Find and replace inside the note you are writing. ⌘F opens the bar, ⌘⌥F adds the replace field, Return and Shift-Return step through matches, and ⌘G still works after you close it. Case sensitivity and whole-word matching are one click away, and replaced words keep their bold or italic. Replace all counts as a single step, so one undo puts the document back.
- While searching, the Turkish dotted and dotless i count as the same letter, so ISTANBUL finds İstanbul.

- Touch ID now unlocks your locked notes. It never appeared before and the vault always asked for your password instead.

- Settings, under iCloud Sync, now tells you when new changes are on their way instead of only showing when the last sync happened — with a Sync now button next to it.

- Changes you make on your iPhone now reach your Mac in seconds. They could sit and wait for a long time before, because macOS decided when a background app was allowed to fetch them; Flyout now asks the moment they are announced, and again every time you open the panel.
- Every note and quick page reopens exactly where you left it — same scroll position, same cursor spot — instead of picking up wherever the previous one was.

- Clicking the menu bar icon can now open the panel right away, instead of opening the menu first. New installations start that way; if you are already using Flyout, your click keeps opening the menu until you change it in Settings, under Trigger. A right-click, or Control-click, always opens the menu.

- Locked notes: if two Macs each set up a lock before iCloud had caught up, a note locked on one of them could end up impossible to open anywhere. Setting up a lock now waits for iCloud, unlocking tries every lock you have, and Flyout refuses to save over a note it cannot open.

- Lock a note behind a password. Its text, tags and attachments are encrypted, and the plain text leaves the database rather than just disappearing from the list. Touch ID reopens it in a second.
- The vault closes on its own — when your screen locks, when the Mac sleeps, or after a few idle minutes you choose. Reading a note counts as being there, so it will not close while you are still on it.
- Locked notes stay out of exports, the widget and the copy commands, so a note you locked cannot leave as plain text by accident.
- Flyout cannot reset your password, so setup hands you a recovery code once. If both are ever lost, Settings has a way out that starts you over with a new lock.

- Pressing Return in a code block no longer swallows the line or jumps the cursor upwards.
- Closing a quick page tab with content now asks first.

- Attach any kind of file to a note — a PDF, a zip, a screenshot — up to 50 MB each. The file is copied into the note, so it travels with the note to your other Macs. Click it to open it, or right-click to save a copy anywhere.
- Export a note, a quick page, a folder or everything at once, as PDF, Markdown or plain text. Images and attachments come along in an assets folder next to the file.
- Drag quick page tabs to reorder them. The tab follows your pointer and the others slide aside to make room.
- PowerShell now gets syntax highlighting in code blocks.

- A licence now runs on five Macs instead of two, and existing licences were raised automatically.
