Fixed
- Pressing ⌘Z right after you switch tabs or open Flyout no longer brings back text from another tab. Undo now only reverses changes in the note you have open.
- When another app’s window covers the panel, the panel now closes as soon as you move the pointer away, instead of staying stuck behind that window.

- The “Notes” list is easier to read: each note shows its title and date, a short preview, and its folder, tags and task progress.
- Search has its own row and highlights matching text. Press ⌘F to search, then use the arrow keys to move through the results.
- Filter notes by “Pinned”, “Open tasks” and “Tags”, see how many notes match, and clear the search and filters with “Reset”.
- Drag notes within a folder to put them in your own order. The list switches to “Manual” sorting, and the order is kept on this Mac.
Fixed
- While you drag a note, it is now clearer where it will land. Dragging a pinned note onto its own folder now explains why it stays at the top.
- If you use Flyout together with another screen-edge panel app such as Overlay, you can type in your note again as soon as you switch back to Flyout.
- After you open the panel from the screen edge, the first click on a button or a note now works instead of needing a second click.

- If Flyout can’t read its Agent Access settings, you can now reset them from Settings.
- An agent’s first reminder no longer fails while macOS is still asking you to allow notifications.
- Fixed an issue where text typed while an agent was reading the open note was sometimes not saved.
- iCloud Sync errors in Settings now appear in your language instead of a technical message in English.
- Fixed two crashes: one when the last display was disconnected, and one when exporting notes after a sync issue had left a duplicate folder.

Markdown files exported from Flyout keep their tags and dates, and very large files are split into several notes.
- The Flyout extension for Chrome now also works in Brave, Arc, Microsoft Edge, Vivaldi, Opera and Chromium. A new Browsers section in Settings shows each browser’s connection and repairs it with one click.
- With the updated Chrome extension, you can save a screenshot of the page you’re reading, or a right-clicked image, straight into a note.

- Very long notes, such as large imported files, open faster and no longer lag while you type.
- With iCloud Sync on, items you delete, such as folders or notes removed from the Trash, are now also deleted from iCloud, so they no longer reappear on a newly set-up device.

- A faster sync engine. Changes now travel between your Mac and iPhone in seconds — edits upload moments after you stop typing, and sync no longer stalls on Low Power Mode or personal-hotspot connections.
- Please also update Flyout on your iPhone (version 1.1.1): devices on older versions can't exchange changes until both are updated. Nothing is lost — they catch up as soon as both are current.

- Task lists with a status. Type /todo for a list whose lines carry a stage — backlog, to-do, in progress, in review, done, cancelled — each with its own colour and icon. Click the icon to change it, and add statuses of your own in Settings, under Tasks. Tick-box checklists are still there, now under /check.
- Version history. When a note is overwritten by a copy arriving from another device, Flyout keeps the text that was replaced. Right-click a note or a tab and choose Version history to bring it back.

- After a long spell without syncing, a note written on your phone could be overwritten by an older copy on the Mac without a word. Flyout now asks which version to keep, and says in the panel when syncing has stalled.
- Choosing a preset time in the reminder popover left no sign of which one you had picked. The chosen preset is now marked.

- Flyout now speaks Japanese and Simplified Chinese, alongside English, Turkish, Spanish, French, Italian and German. Pick your language in Settings, under Language.
Fixed
- Japanese text in the panel was drawn with Chinese characters. The panel now follows the language you write in, so the characters look the way you expect.
- Find and replace now treats full-width and half-width characters as the same, and finds katakana when you type hiragana.
- Sorting notes by title now orders numbers naturally, so “Note 2” comes before “Note 10”.

Fixed
- Writing with a Chinese, Japanese or Korean input method could lose text. A note arriving from another device interrupted the input session mid-word, and a long sentence could be saved half-converted. Both are fixed.
- Exporting to PDF drew Japanese text with Chinese glyphs. Exports now follow your system language, so the characters look the way you write them.

- Fifteen named themes alongside Light and Dark — seven dark and eight light. Pick one from the theme icon in the panel header, or in Settings under General. A named theme does not change when your Mac switches between light and dark, and the Settings window uses the same colours, not only the panel.
- Give a note its own paper colour. The picker opens from the colour button in a note’s header, or by right-clicking a note in the library or a tab in Quick and choosing Note color — thirty-eight colours grouped by family, plus a custom colour you pick yourself. The coloured sheet sits inset from the panel edges, and it ignores the app theme, so a yellow note stays yellow in dark mode.
- Links that point at other apps now open from your notes. obsidian://, things:/// and most others are handed to whichever app takes them, and pasting one turns it into a link on the spot.
- The handle beside a block opens a menu when you click it: insert a block below, duplicate it, or delete it. Dragging the handle still moves the block as before.

- Notes inside a folder began further left than the folder’s own name, so a long list ran together. Folder names now read as headings, and the notes under them sit indented along a thin line.

- Add a reminder without attaching it to a note. The Reminders tab has a + button (and one in the empty list) for a standalone reminder — pick a label and a date or repeat, no note required.
- Move a quick page into your library, or a note into a quick page, from its right-click menu. The spot it left is cleared, and a toast lets you undo the move.

- A note title could show a raw < instead of the character itself, when the note used underline or colour. Fixed everywhere the title appears — the tab, the library row, the widget, and exports.
- Copying or enlarging an image inside a locked note failed silently, even with the vault open. Fixed.

- Find and replace inside the note you are writing. ⌘F opens the bar, ⌘⌥F adds the replace field, Return and Shift-Return step through matches, and ⌘G still works after you close it. Case sensitivity and whole-word matching are one click away, and replaced words keep their bold or italic. Replace all counts as a single step, so one undo puts the document back.
- While searching, the Turkish dotted and dotless i count as the same letter, so ISTANBUL finds İstanbul.

- Touch ID now unlocks your locked notes. It never appeared before and the vault always asked for your password instead.

- Every note and quick page reopens exactly where you left it — same scroll position, same cursor spot — instead of picking up wherever the previous one was.

- Clicking the menu bar icon can now open the panel right away, instead of opening the menu first. New installations start that way; if you are already using Flyout, your click keeps opening the menu until you change it in Settings, under Trigger. - Locked notes: if two Macs each set up a lock before iCloud had caught up, a note locked on one of them could end up impossible to open anywhere. Setting up a lock now waits for iCloud, unlocking tries every lock you have, and Flyout refuses to save over a note it cannot open.

- Lock a note behind a password. Its text, tags and attachments are encrypted, and the plain text leaves the database rather than just disappearing from the list. Touch ID reopens it in a second.
- The vault closes on its own — when your screen locks, when the Mac sleeps, or after a few idle minutes you choose. Reading a note counts as being there, so it will not close while you are still on it.
- Locked notes stay out of exports, the widget and the copy commands, so a note you locked cannot leave as plain text by accident.
- Flyout cannot reset your password, so setup hands you a recovery code once. If both are ever lost, Settings has a way out that starts you over with a new lock.
